About Summer School

The International Geometry Summer School in Memory of the 100th Anniversary of Gazi University is a premier academic event organized by the Geometry Division of the Department of Mathematics at Gazi University.

This year holds an extraordinary significance as we proudly celebrate the 100th anniversary (1926-2026) of Gazi University, one of the most prestigious and deeply rooted scientific and educational institutions of the Turkish Republic. In honor of this historic milestone, this summer school brings together world-renowned experts, researchers, and postgraduate students to celebrate a century of academic heritage and to foster global mathematical collaboration.

Scientific Focus and Objectives

The main objective of this intensive program is to provide an advanced platform for exploring cutting-edge developments at the intersection of Differential Geometry, Complex Analysis, and General Relativity. The curriculum is meticulously structured around advanced mini-courses covering:

• The geometry and subelliptic theory of CR manifolds and pseudo-Hermitian structures,

• The geometric aspects of space-time singularities and gravitational field equations in general relativity,

• Recent breakthroughs in Riemannian maps and Ricci solitons.

By bridging the gap between pure differential geometry and mathematical physics, the school aims to equip Ph.D. candidates, young researchers, and advanced students with the essential theoretical tools and modern perspectives required for contemporary research.
